Upper Mustang Trekking begins from the Pokhara the western part of Nepal. You will fly from Pokhara to Jomsom, it will take about 25 minutes. After we arrive in Jomsom, we start our upper Mustang trekking through the Holy river bank of Kaligandaki River and follow the upstream to get to Lo-Mangthang, which is capital of the upper Mustang. On Upper Mustang Trekking you may have chance to discover the thousand years of old monastery, caves, local tribes and amazing landscapes. The Home Ministry of Nepal announced the opening of the restricted Upper Mustang areas in October 1991. In Upper Mustang there is also strict manage in obtaining a special permit from the department of immigration to protect their tradition from outside influence as well as to protect their environment. The high desert region of the Tibetan pressure, Kaligandaki, from the Tibetan border south to Kagbeni is usually referred to as “Upper Mustang”.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing.

Day 3: Fly/Drive to Pokhara (823m).

Day 4: Fly to Jomsom (20m.) and trek to Kagbeni (2858m): 3-4 hrs.

Day 5: Trek to Chele (3050m): 5-6 hrs.

Day 6: Trek to Syangbochen (3475m): 6-7 hrs

Day 7: Trek to Ghaymi (3520m): 5-6 hrs

Day 8: Trek to Charang (3500m): 4-5 hrs

Day 9: Trek to Lo-Manthang (3700m): 5-6 hrs

Day 10: Explore Lo-Mangthang.

Day 11: Trek to Drakmar (3810m): 6-7 hrs

Day 12: Trek to Ghiling (3806m): 5-6 hrs

Day 13: Trek to Chhuksang (3050m): 5-6 hrs

Day 14: Trek to Jomsom (2700): 6-7 hrs

Day 15: Fly back to Pokhara

Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu.

Day 17: Final Departure.
